I.M.S. Innovative Medical Solutions S.r.l. (IMS) is an Italian biotech company founded in 2004, focused on adult stem cells banking and regenerative medicine.
IMS's subsidiary company, InnovaStem GmbH, , is a stem cells bank with a research and development (R&D) unit located in Leipzig, Germany, the European country with the most advanced, clearest and strictest regulatory.
The Company’s headquarters is in Brescia, Italy, near to Milan.
IMS already offers services for stem cells banking, particularly for the banking of the umbilical cord blood (under the brand StemCellsMedicalService) in a state of art GMP German facility. IMS has also developed a proprer technology for the banking of hematopoietic stem cells obtained from the placenta and mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) obtained from the cord tissue and the placenta, in order to offer an innovative perinatal stem cells banking service.
IMS plans also to develop new services for the banking of stem cells obtained from other sources.
Moreover, IMS’s goal is to develop new solutions for the regenerative medicine based on the use of adult stem cells for cell therapy and tissue engineering. IMS’ strategy is to develop in the proper R&D unit intellectual property, patents, products and services and to define agreements with other companies. IMS is already available in order to license the proper technology for perinatal stem cells banking.
